About
Career
It began in late 2016 as a contractor at Boston Store, where I worked as a JavaScript developer to create a mega menu navigation system for their E-commerce platform. In 2017, I was hired on and continued developing site features, including a store locator, coupon automation system, and a promotional video player to allow videos to be shown across the site.
In May of 2018, I joined Concurrency, Inc. as an associate software developer on their modern apps team. During this time, I collaborated with talented developers and sharpened my skills in building enterprise software, specializing in Angular, Azure, and TypeScript. In late 2019, I was promoted to software developer, expanding my expertise to include .NET, React, and various supporting technologies. Throughout my career at Concurrency, I contributed to a variety of web applications, including SaaS, B2B, B2C, and Fintech solutions.
At the end of 2022, I took a break from my career to focus on a series of life events concerning family and my health. In May of 2023, I began development on an open world action role-playing game (ARPG) using Godot 3.5. Here I delved into the entire 3D pipeline for game development and enjoyed the process of bringing my ideas to life. In October of 2023, I set out to work on an FPS prototype in Godot 4, to get myself up to speed with the new version. After sometime of getting comfortable with the new engine I decided to rebuild my original idea of the fantasy ARPG and start with a new perspective. Since then, I have been working on the game relentlessly. Getting better each day and moving forward to a potential demo or early access release.
